ArtWalk LA — Privacy Policy

ArtWalk LA respects your privacy. This is a short policy because the app collects very little data.

What we collect

Your location — only when you tap “find me on the map.” Your location is used solely to display a dot showing your position on the studio map. It is never transmitted off your device, never stored, and never shared with us or any third party.
Your favorites — when you tap the star icon on an artist, we store that preference locally on your device using iOS’s standard preferences storage. We never see this data.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any account information.
There are no user accounts.
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or any third-party SDKs that collect data about you.
We do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not collect crash reports or telemetry.

Network requests

The app’s map, directory, and all of its data are bundled inside the app. It does not load remote images or other third-party content, and it works fully offline. In normal use the app makes no network requests at all.

Content

All studio and artist information in the app is factual directory data drawn from publicly available sources — artist names, public studio addresses and unit numbers, medium/category, and public website or social links. The app contains no third-party photographs and no copied biographies. The campus map is our own original schematic.

This is an independent, unofficial guide. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by the Brewery Art Walk, the Brewery Arts Complex, or any artist listed.

Children’s privacy

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is rated 4+ in the App Store.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above and post the new version in the app’s “About” screen.
